ACEN Australia on the role of LTESAs in NSW energy transition

Long-Term Energy Service Agreements (LTESAs) play an important role in NSW’s energy transition. As revenue support mechanisms, they are designed to improve project bankability, bringing forward investment in new generation, firming, and long-duration storage projects.

ACEN Australia’s Stubbo Solar Farm is the first solar project in NSW to reach operation with an LTESA.

The 400 MW solar farm was one of four projects awarded an LTESA under NSW Roadmap Tender Round 1 for Generation and Long-Duration Storage in April 2023.

In this video, hear from ACEN Australia’s Managing Director, David Pollington, on how the LTESA product gave them the confidence to continue to develop the project and how the NSW Roadmap supports ACEN's decision to invest in NSW.
