Preparing your bid
Key documents can be found in the Tender Documents tab. These include:
- The Tender Guidelines which contain all relevant information on the process and criteria for this tender, to support proponents in preparing and submitting a bid.
- The Proforma LDS LTESA
- The MC1 Market Briefing Note which provides guidance on the assessment of Merit Criteria 1 – Financial Value and System Benefits (MC1).
- The Social Value Market Briefing Note which provides guidance on updated social value submission requirements and assessment under Merit Criteria 4 (MC4).
Minimum Objectives
Under the EII Act, ASL has two legislated targets for LDS infrastructure. There are for the construction of:
- 2 GW and 16 GWh by 2030; and
- 28 GWh by 2034.
These targets are minimum objectives only. ASL’s 2025 Infrastructure Investment Objectives (IIO) report’s development pathway calls for 42 GWh of LDS projects by 2034, above and beyond the Minimum Objectives. ASL also has regard for the need to de-risk the development pathway and is calling for more projects that can be operational by 2030 to participate.
