Greg has extensive experience on public and private sector Boards across financial markets and regulation, both in Australia and abroad. He is currently Chair of Australian Finance Group Ltd, a listed financial services group in Australia, Chair of the Advisory Board of Global Digital Finance, a UK Based global market standards and education industry group and Director of Digital Finance Co-operative Research Centre and financial services group, Thinktank Group Pty Ltd.
In addition, Greg has previously served as Director of the OECD Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs from November 2017 to July 2021, was a former commissioner and Chair of ASIC, former Mayor in cities in Melbourne and Sydney and had a long and successful career in the private sector in investment banking across Australia, Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Mary was the Chair of the NSW Independent Planning Commission from 2018-2024, NSW Chief Scientist & Engineer from 2008-2018; and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Adelaide from 1996-2001. For the last 25 years, Mary has served on many Australian and overseas boards and committees in the public and private sectors, especially related to research, engineering, ICT, energy, and international development.
Mary was appointed Independent Chair of the AEMO Board in 2024, commencing in the role on 2 April 2024.

Chair of Risk, Compliance and Audit Committee
Anne has substantial knowledge and practical experience of Australian and international exchange traded financial markets, renewable energy, Australian aviation services and related critical infrastructure, together with expertise in risk management, corporate governance and regulatory environments.
Anne’s last executive role was as Chief Risk Officer with ASX Limited (ASX). She also represented ASX as the Chair and an executive committee member of CCP12, an influential global industry association involving all major international clearing houses. Prior executive roles were held with Sydney Futures Exchange and KPMG. Prior Board roles include the Clean Energy Regulator and Chair of the Australian Life Code Compliance Committee. Anne holds a double major degree in accountancy and computer science from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Sibylle has more than 40 years’ broad commercial experience as a lawyer, non-executive director and economic regulator, with a particular focus on regulated industries and sectors undergoing rapid change. She has extensive experience as a board Chair, non-executive director and committee Chair in both listed and unlisted companies across multiple sectors. Her current portfolio includes financial services, fintech, essential infrastructure services and energy.
She is a former partner of two major commercial law firms and was for 6 years a member of the NSW Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART).
Sibylle served as a Director of AEMO between 2013 and 2020 and was also previously a member of the Dispute Resolution Panel for the National Electricity Market and the gas markets. In 2016/17 Sibylle was a member of a three-person Energy Security Taskforce reviewing energy shortages caused by the combination of drought affecting hydro generation and the prolonged failure of the Basslink undersea interconnector. All recommendations of the taskforce were accepted by the government.

Craig specialises in energy governance and consumer advocacy, with more than 20 years’ sector experience including regulation, markets, policy, system planning and on‑the‑ground project delivery. He has contributed extensively to stakeholder and community engagement across the National Electricity Market, held technical, commercial and advisory roles in renewable energy businesses, and led innovative distributed energy and data‑driven projects.
Current statutory and governance roles include:
- End‑User Representative, AEMC Reliability Panel, which monitors, reviews and reports on the reliability, security and safety of the National Electricity Market and periodically reviews the reliability standard and settings.
- Panel member, AEMO Integrated System Plan Consumer Panel, providing a consumer‑focused perspective and independent advice to AEMO through the ISP development process.
- Panel member, Monitoring and Compliance Panel, New Energy Tech Consumer Code, overseeing monitoring and enforcement of compliance with the Code for approved new energy technology sellers.
Other governance and committee roles include:
- Non‑executive Director, Energy and Water Ombudsman NSW Board, serving on various board committees including Finance and Risk (Acting Chair) and Nominations, People and Culture.
- Chair roles including the NSW Renewable Energy Sector Board, Australian Wind Alliance (now RE Alliance) Board, and the AER's Consumer Reference Group.
- Program oversight and advice, including as National Stakeholder Steering Committee for the National Smart Meter Program, Victoria Government's Bushfire Powerline Safety Taskforce and member of the NSW Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap Expert Panel.
- Customer councils and stakeholder forums for various energy network businesses and retailers across the NEM.
- Dozens of working, reference and advisory groups for the AEMC, AER, AEMO, ESB and State and Commonwealth Government.
Craig is currently Senior Energy Advisor and former Program Director at the Justice and Equity Centre (formerly PIAC), where he provides nationally influential consumer advocacy on governance, market reform and regulatory design, addressing affordability, reliability, decarbonisation and social licence in the energy transition. His earlier roles include associate director at Energy Consumers Australia, senior consumer advocate and energy specialist at Renew, engineering and management roles in renewable energy businesses, and teaching electrotechnology and renewable energy.
Craig is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ilana has extensive experience in investment banking and as a senior executive in the retail industry. As Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer for Endeavour Group she led strategy, corporate development, and transformation for Endeavour Group. Prior to that she held a variety of roles at Woolworths Group and was an investment banker in Australia and offshore.
She is a highly experienced professional with a proven track record of delivering long term business and customer outcomes, and significant experience in driving positive transaction outcomes for businesses. Ilana holds degrees in finance and economics from the University of Queensland.

Daniel Westerman commenced as CEO and Managing Director of AEMO in May 2021. He oversees AEMO’s strategy and operations, including collaboration with market participants and policy makers.
Prior to joining AEMO, Daniel held a variety of senior executive roles with London-listed electricity and gas utility, National Grid Plc. Most recently he served as Chief Transformation Officer and President of Renewable Energy, where he led the company-wide transformation program, and grew a large-scale renewable energy business in the United States. In previous roles, he has been responsible for engineering, planning and operational control of the electricity transmission network across Great Britain, as well as the development of distributed energy systems, such as rooftop solar, storage and energy metering.
Prior to joining National Grid Plc, he held positions with McKinsey & Company and Ford Australia.

Christine Williams is a professional lawyer, General Counsel and business executive with over 30 years experience as a mergers and acquisitions and funds management lawyer and senior business executive in the infrastructure, property, and financial services industries. She has worked in private practice and in leadership teams for high-profile real estate and infrastructure funds management businesses, advising listed and unlisted boards and participating in deal teams across the spectrum of infrastructure and real estate assets.
Christine was General Counsel for BT Asset Management Property Group for a number of years and subsequently Executive Director and Global General Counsel for the Macquarie Group infrastructure and real asset funds management division for 21 years. Her responsibilities at Macquarie included transactional, investment and risk management activities in electricity generation and electricity and gas transmission and distribution in Australia. Christine is currently a non-executive director of Port of Newcastle Property Trust Group and of not-for-profit organisations supporting indigenous education and the arts.
Christine joined the AEMO Board in 2023 and the ASL Board in October 2025.
